This piece was inspired by a trip to Morocco. During that journey, the color purple kept appearing in the sky. My friend asked me to include it in the painting, and from there the details grew out of the memories we shared on that trip. Every small detail is a reflection of what we experienced together, making this painting a special way for her to look back on those moments.
